The Bureau of Reclamation and the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission are preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to disclose the effects of a new pipeline project for the Eastern New Mexico Rural Water System, also known as the Ute Reservoir Pipeline. The National Environmental Policy Act, or “NEPA”, requires that all federal agencies consider and analyze the environmental effects of their decisions and actions, in coordination with other agencies and the public. The results of the NEPA process are disclosed in a publicly available document. For the pipeline project, that document is the EA. Please scroll down on this web page to access project documents available for downloading. |
